i never thought of that... triple tree with springer... I've been trying to search on here trying to find how others have done it and only came up with two forks on a rocker hinge..Kanar a écrit :and why not the two fork in one ?
@ yanloch, sorry i missed your first post.. psykopat was messing with my mind
ok there are a couple of ways to do this either weld the rims together or drill holes and bolt together..
1st... Get rims side by side and line the valve holes up making sure that the spoke holes are following the same pattern also..
2nd... i then use a 90 angle and start clamping the rims together. Place your first clamp then the second clamp on the opposite side 4 clamps in total with equal spacing between them.
3rd... I then do about a 30mm weld at each clamp. Then remove clamps.
4th... Now that you have 4 equally spaced welds your going to place the clamps in between the welds you just layed. Run the 90 angle over the edge to make sure its all stilll straight then weld 4 more eually spaced welds.. You will then have 8 equally spaced welds.
For a 26" you want to have 16 equally spaced welds.
Remove clamps check for sharp edges If its all smoothe your wheel is ready to be laced and trued!
Goodluck mate
