Can standard width coaster hubs be used with 80mm rim?

sure !
of course you can ! the standard size for a coaster hub is close to 100mm

also would this mean that you could use standard hub with a 10mm spaced rear sprocket plus slight offset lacing of the spokes for 100mm rim?
At the moment i only understand how to lace spokes into wheels, im not to good on calculating what spokes, hubs and rims yet........

somewhere in the CB forum, you can find some help to calculate spoke for your rim and hub. If I remember, this help looks like a Excel Software.

there is a red link "fichier" to an Excel Worksheet.
Thissheet calculates the spokes you need depending on the size and diameter of the hub, the number of holes, the diameter of the spoke head and the number of desired crossing.
